Awesome group of people. Anyone from Montana knows there is a huge community of poor service, entitled disrespectful and unjustly GREEDY businesses!!! Not here, from the admin Staff Diane to the workers(mechanics) they are above par. When i picked up my vehicle the mechanic took his time to show me what was done and greet and thank me. You wont get that anywhere else. Also prices are what they should be ! Many places in town specifically Point-S wanted 4 times the amount for the same job not to mention that place won’t let you bring your own parts. Ill tell you why…. Because they want to triple charge you for the same parts. Gear Grabbers is in a class of their own, one of the very few good businesses in Great Falls.

Was a last minute thing for my 30 year old truck and they got me in immediately, had the part along with fluid top off in less than 2 hours and price was reasonable too! I highly recommend. I'll be returning for more repairs whenever needed.

During a cross country road trip, we were driving through town and had meachnical issues at 5:30pm on a Friday. Gear Grabbers Garage was the only place that would look at the car on short notice. An issue with the clutch was immediately identified. We were informed we would likely be able to make it back to the mid-west and were not charged. They really went out of their way to offer help. Thank you for the speedy service!

I had a broken axle shaft stuck in the differential. Luke and his team was able to remove it without damaging anything. I was told by another local shop that they couldn’t save my axle and they would have to replace the whole assembly, which would’ve costed 9k. Luke essentially saved me 8k. Since then I’ve taken my jeep in for some quick fixes and upgrades. Steering box, shocks, alignment. I also brought it in to have him nut and bolt check everything, before I go rock crawling. Very satisfied with their work!

As I crossed into Montana from Canada my back window went down but I could not get it back up. I was recommended to this shop by a parts store in town. They got my window back up, it stayed in place, and I was able to be back on the road in about 3 hours, not only for a good price but on a long weekend Monday too! Thanks guys!

They are good honest hardworking ppl, I’m from out of state and I’ve used them several times, i was impressed with the quality of work at a reasonable price. If I ever have problems with my truck and im working in this part of the country I’ll do everything in my power to bring it to gear grabbers. Great ppl and highly recommended

This garage has a truly small town welcome feeling. The staff were all polite and got my vehicle in and diagnosed very quickly. The mechanics were very helpful and knowledgeable, assuring me that the job would be done professionally. Very helpful working with my warranty company and even gave me a ride home. Wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.
